Yes. Switch the composer to Hex or Base64, or attach a file to send it as one binary frame. Received binary shows as a hex dump, UTF-8 text when valid, and Base64.
1006 means the connection dropped without a close frame — often the server is down or a proxy blocks upgrades. 1008 is a policy violation, usually auth or an Origin check. Every close code is explained in the log with likely fixes.
